But one day, because of this illness, she lost both her job
and her health insurance. Then, one day back in 2005, Kathleen
made an emergency visit to Cambridge Hospital. There, she was
diagnosed with cancer. Since that time, this hospital has
assisted Kathleen in enrolling in the new state-subsidized
health insurance system. Through this, she is now able to
access the different kinds of coverage she needs. Now,
Kathleen assesses it all, "When you go from having [health]

"It's such a plus not to have to worry about insurance."

Kingsdale. This office is an independent state agency, created

insurers.” This seems to be the only way to get the country
moving on “this very tough problem."
