The Bush Sequel – Starring John McCain, Pt.3 -- the
Storyline
Previous…
The great division deals with poverty apathy. Should those
who have health insurance care about those who don’t have
health insurance? Ideologies between the Red and Blue armies
are, pretty much, juxtaposed. In a way it goes back to the
fabled time when the two key leaders sat down at a conference
table to decide who should resolve this problem. One was
called Someone and the other one was called Everyone. The
impasse was that Everyone felt that Someone should do it. But
Someone countered that Everyone should do it. To this day, the
issue has still not been resolved and over 47 million without
health insurance are hanging in the balance. So here are some
of the tactics…
The Red Army plans to thrust the general public into the
free-market of private health insurance, thereby allowing the
market forces to reach equilibrium. So each little individual
can fend for themselves (kind of like Donald Trump slugging it
out with Warren Buffet, only not near so evenly matched). The
rules of capitalism demand that every corporation’s loyalty is
to it’s stockholders and, as such, must weed out the sick as a
liability. Since many states have contaminated this quest by
interfering with corporate free-reign, they need to be
neutralized. Easily done, remove out-of-state restrictions on
health insurance. Now, because a corporation has interstate
immunity, they no longer have to play by an individual state’s
silly “protection rules” on health insurance. Now, with the
risk pool down to the individual level, the work is mostly
done. Only thing left is to do is open the XL spread sheet and
sort by risk factor. Select desired “print area” and press
print. That leaves the rest of the day for a few rounds of
golf. All in a day’s work.
