McCain vs. Destitute, Pt.1 – ‘Denied health insurance’;
cutting thru the rhetoric.
Let’s stick to the major issues. People are dying slow
deaths from being denied adequate and affordable health
insurance, while their loved ones watch on. Certainly this
tragedy ties in with the comprehensive the major issue of the
health insurance crisis. It should be a major key point: far
above convenience; getting better than adequate; and saving a
few tax dollars. Shame on any culture that ignores this.
‘Ignores’ seems to have ties with ‘ignorance’. How many people
have in-depth knowledge of this plight? This ‘hard questions’
concerning health insurance need more exposure from debate
moderators, candidates and selected citizens who get national
viewing for their questions.
Further, we must demand quantification. Are we fixing 3% or
93% of the problem? Without that stipulation, a deceptive lie
has equal footing with absolute truth. Quantify how important
the issue is. Is the issue unimportant because most of our
voters aren’t directly affected? That question can only be
answered by the voters themselves. The problem is that the
question is never being presented to the voters. Are they ok
with not fixing the problem, when statistical evidence shows us
that 16 million of the 45.7 million Americans without health
insurance are in the chronic and pre-existing condition segment
that are denied adequate and affordable health insurance?
Are the voters ok with not fixing the problem, when
statistical evidence shows us that, at least 15% of those who
apply for health insurance online, are classed as
‘un-insurable’? Are the voters ok with a commitment to only fix
3% of the problem? Are the voters ok with lame debates that
never even mention such a deplorable blight for a developed
nation?
