Destitute vs. McCain, Pt.1 – Too expensive ; Not viable ;
Flawed stats.
Previous…
So, let’s hear from our national community. In our
recently-evolved societal structure, it has worked well to
separate blogs into categories, based on: Opinion; Testimony
or; Attributable reliable evidence. Our first contributor was
signed on as ‘netguy’. He has a testimony which allows us to
‘wear his shoes’ and decide for ourselves how Mr. McCain’s
health insurance plan would effect him and his family. He had
been laid off and, presumably, had lost family health
insurance. Being wise, this person realized the importance of
obtaining family health insurance soon. As ‘netguy’ explains:
“My wife and [were] two healthy, skinny people barely past 30
and we were turned down by all 8 companies we applied to.”
Eventually, they were able to obtain health insurance, but
it was very expensive and only offered coverage with very high
deductibles. His final analysis was noting that, the health
insurers write their one-sided contracts and “simply won’t deal
with individuals”.
The next one comes from a well-known contributor to our
health/wellbeing community who general responds to all three of
these categories, signed in as ‘Wendell Murray’. The content
provided here seems to lean toward opinion, well-worth
considering (no endorsements are implied). He provides his
over-all summary of Mr. McCain’s health insurance proposal.
Since his writings typically do reflect all three categories
with greater length and depth, it’s natural to expect his
summary is well-thought out. His opinions is: “Anyone lacking
bias or funding from vested interests with a minimal amount of
knowledge can debunk the nonsense of any healthcare-related
proposal from Senator McCain or his campaign.”
Now comes a third category statement. Again, this article
takes no sides. Signed on as ‘webguy2’ this person states that
“Norvax” is not an authority. Their business is selling ‘quote
engines’ to health insurance agents. Depending on one’s trust
in that company’s statistical abilities, disciplines and
ethics, the reader must judge for themselves the integrity of
their findings.
