Main Street’s Feedback on Obama, Pt.1 – Insightful public
responds.
Previous…
First off, ‘fuzzyduck’ responds about the greater amount of
detail that is evolving in candidates’ health insurance/care
proposals (and probably about columns reporting these, as
well). It’s certainly a good thing (and critical with time,
also). This person points out the inescapable, yet largely
unaddressed, reality that typically changes everything. That
would be Congress. There can be no guarantee but, conditions
seem favorable to Mr. Obama’s health insurance/care proposals
with the Democratic Congress. They also look favorable by the
fact that Congress has already pieced together their plan which
looks much more like Obama’s than McCain’s. Mr. McCain will
almost certainly meet with hostile resistance on some of his
health insurance/care proposals. So, unless this case is
extremely different, we can normally expect a composite of
bi-partisan spins to be the result. This is not necessarily
bad. Bi-partisan cooperation will be essential.
This was the case with the Massachusetts health
insurance/care system model formed under such major players as
Mitt Romney and Ted Kennedy. Although not perfect, the results
have been very commendable in key areas. One that remains,
however, is cost containment. This could devolve into a
bi-partisan rub but, as yet, has remained as a sincere health
insurance/care system endeavor for both parties. Very good
response from ‘fuzzyduck’.
The next blog is short, but sweet. Logged in as 'bdteach’,
the original article is commended and Mr. Obama’s health
insurance/care plan is accepted. 'bdteach’ dismisses the nay-sayers
who seem to always take away answers, but never add anything
constructive to the resolve.
