need no stinkin’ incentive. We need help!

Now, live from Main Street, we hear from most of America,
all in the words of the most sincere blogger, signed in as ‘M
Bergman’ (Avg 5.00). Health insurance/care ‘incentives’ need to
be confined to their purpose – to help out a little. This is
light-years shy of reform. When serious Health insurance/care
reform is critical, it is an insult to Americans when the only
offer by a candidate is an incentive. Talk about lame. Main
Street ‘M Bergman’ should be awarded the exclusive patent on
the phrase ‘Straight Talk’. What good is an artful-dodge
incentive when Americans are still stifled with impossible
up-front Health insurance/care costs?
Forget about your pompous wisdom of ‘shutting off cable’
when the TV has already been hocked. Forget about foregoing
‘vacation’ – what vacation. Forget about cutting back on
‘entertainment out’ – how does one cut back from nothing.
Forget about getting a better-paying full-time job – they
aren’t around. When an honest family can’t pay subsistence
expenses and still get health insurance on retirement, SS and a
PT job combined, you’re out of line, Mr. candidate, when your
best offer is a minor ‘incentive’. If you’re only concerned
with the people who live as well as you and your friends who
already have adequate health insurance and lack nothing, then
you must not become President. Now some of this may be
hyperbole, but this isn’t. ‘M Bergman’s’ summary is
“Incentives. Give me a break!”
Blogger ‘tubette‘ (Avg 5.00) makes a succinct statement,
which is right to the point. In the context of health
