Mr. McCain’s Definition of ‘Best Coverage’, Pt.10 –
Mr. O is seeking help from industry.
Previous…
Employee-base health insurance has long been the backbone of
our nation’s health. The 45.7 million without health insurance
are just not some greedy lobby group, they’re victims. They’re
not looking for handouts, but any nation who ignore this many
victims is a disgrace to the world. Employers are expected to
help out with health insurance. Some see that as a ‘problem’.
Next ‘problem’: The health insurance industry is being
‘bullied’ into having to cover all of those in poor health. Is
it only geniuses who understand that nobody ‘bullies’ a
multi-trillion dollar industry? The truth is that, even the
industry sees the foreboding ‘writing on the wall’ and has been
in continued negotions for some time now on these issues. It’s
already been proven by Massachusetts Model that it works.
Negotiations have been forging ahead all these months, thanks
to deep commitment on the part of so many. We better start
seeing some of this deep commitment from Mr. McCain soon or
people are going to start to wonder. Band-aids will not fix a
crises, and detractors are rarely part of the solution. From
article #2, which says it all: “Burn barns, if you will, but
don’t try and defend turning your back on 45.7 million of our
people without health insurance. There’s a counter-culture that
believes government should not regulate its citizens.
Something’s amiss here. Just as our nation could not survive
without regulating a military to defend itself, neither can our
nation survive a sustainable ‘domestic responsibility’ way of
life (…provide for the common welfare…) without government
regulation.”
