Mr. McCain on Health Insurance/Care, Pt.8 –
Who really understands McCain’s plan?

These states do their best to match health insurance
payments of the consumers, with the intent of expanding
enrollment. But, in the end, most of these states are stymied
by existing health insurance costs and are forced to expend
their grant money just to keep their existing programs going.
So much for expanding the high-risk health insurance programs
55 times greater than they are now to cover the ‘denied’
population that Mr. McCain promises to ‘not leave behind’. Is
this just another ‘No child left behind’ tactic where a
Republican administration touts a popular vision but, instead

don’t hear about ‘health insurance woes’ from one of the few
‘reliable’ sources then they simply deem it as ‘must not be
important’. One of the brave and trustworthy sources not on
these peoples’ list is the Wall Street Journal. They were the
ones bold enough to ask the most begging question: “How much
will McCain spend to subsidize coverage?” Absent, of course,
was a responsible reply. The New York Times, another one of
those brave and trustworthy sources, apparently, not on those
peoples’ list also examined this critical issue.
