Bush’s Report Card, Pt.7 – Coming soon: 1
of every 4 w/o Health Insurance. McCain approves?
Previous…
Point ‘4)’ As shown in article #5, the census indicates
that, in 2007, 7.2 million more of our citizens had joined the
dismal ranks of the 47 million Americans without health
insurance. Certainly anybody can see that things have gotten
even worse in 2008. This is so deplorable, it has been found to
be the largest increase in the number of people without health
insurance of any Presidential Administration on record! This is
extreme! The facts show that private health insurance coverage
for Americans dropped from 67.9% in 2006 to 67.5% in 2007.
It has continued this way for every year that President Bush
has been in office. Private health insurance has declined a
total of 5 percentage points since 2000. Who are some of these
people and how bad is it for them? 940,000 of them are African
Americans. Another 3 million of them are American Hispanics .
They, among millions of other Americans, have all lost health
insurance since 2000.
We need to forget about all of these “storefront promises”
of stopping abortion and gay marriage. “A tree is known by his
fruit”, as you must know. It’s all been a ‘smoke screen’. The
real agenda has now been exposed. What we have after the last 8
years was always the agenda. Wake up! Do not put your faith in
any candidate who doesn’t soundly refute all of these horrible
policies of the Bush administration. It’s not good enough to
win the election and lose the ‘domestic responsibility’ war.
Just as our nation could never survive a free-market military
to defend itself, neither can our nation survive a sustainable
‘domestic responsibility’ way of life (…provide for the common
welfare…) without government regulation. The general population
does not individually police itself well from a national
perspective. The deplorable conditions we’re in are not ‘bad
luck’ They’re bad voting choices. Are we intelligent enough to
sustain our democracy? In statistics, it considered a lie to
represent a truth based on only 10% and ignore 80%. So if Mr.
McCain states that “Mr. Obama only wants to raise your taxes”
based on only 10% of our population, while ignoring the 80%
whose taxes will be lowered, is he telling the truth? C’mon
now, that’s not a tough question, is it. If isn’t struck you
yet, brace yourself. We’re approaching 50 million without
health insurance. 1 out of every 5 of us. Mr. McCain can almost
guarantee it.
